Dear Reader,
I don’t know if you noticed, but I skipped a newsletter for May because I didn’t have a lot to share last month, but I knew that in June I would be starting a new series of discounts on audiobooks. However, I have been continuing to work away on Mr. Wong to the Rescue, which is definitely now a novella, at slightly under 30,000 words.
I am hoping that by July’s newsletter I will have the first draft completely finished and a cover to show you. Otherwise, I am continuing to work to keep in good physical shape, while also trying to maintain some sort of equilibrium in the midst of the escalating set of crises throughout the US and the world. One of the ways I did this was to write a specific post about what was upsetting me about recent events in the US in this post.
Mostly I have been lifting my spirits, and hope the spirits of those who ready my daily newsletter, An Aging Authors Daily Diversions, by sharing reports on a Daddy Long Legs, who I called Edgar, who took up residence in my downstairs bathroom. Edgar has temporarily disappeared, but he appears to have a number of friends that are also visiting from time to time.
